clybet Online Roulette — Complete Guide and How to Play for Malaysian Players
Roulette is one of the most recognised table games in live casino. At clybet, you can enjoy multiple roulette variants with live dealers, a smooth interface and payment options suited to Malaysian players.
What Is Online Roulette
Roulette is a classic table game that uses a spinning wheel with numbers from 0 to 36. Players place bets on a number, colour (red or black), group of numbers, or a specific combination, then the dealer spins a small ball into the wheel. Where the ball stops determines the winner.
The game is popular because it is easy to understand, yet offers a wide range of betting options that give players the freedom to choose different approaches — from low-risk bets on colours to straight bets on a single number with higher payouts.
At clybet, roulette is available in a live casino format with real dealers streaming the game live. Players can watch every spin of the wheel in real time, adding confidence in the fairness of the game. clybet operates under an international licence, so Malaysian players can play knowing that every spin is transparent and fair.
Roulette Variants at clybet
Each variant has its own characteristics. Learn the differences before you start playing.
European Roulette
A wheel with a single zero pocket (0). Standard betting options, better odds than the American version. Suitable for beginners and experienced players alike.
American Roulette
Features two zero pockets (0 and 00), which slightly increases the house edge. This style is well known and often featured in live casino sessions.
French Roulette
Based on European Roulette with the La Partage rule — players get back half their even-money bet if the ball lands on zero.
Lightning Roulette
A live format that randomly adds "lightning" numbers each round with multipliers much higher than usual.
Speed Roulette
Each round is completed in less time. Suited to players who prefer a faster pace without long pauses between spins.

Types of Bets in Roulette
Understand the bet categories before placing your money on the table.
Straight Up Bet
A bet on a single number only. The payout is the highest of all bet types, but the odds are the hardest to hit.
Split Bet
Place a chip on the border between two adjacent numbers. Covers two numbers at once with a lower payout than Straight Up.
Street Bet
Covers three numbers in one horizontal row on the betting board. Easier to win than Straight Up with a moderate payout.
Corner Bet
The chip is placed at the intersection of four numbers that form a square. Suitable for players who want to cover more numbers in a single bet.
Even Money Bet
Includes Red/Black, Even/Odd, and Low/High (1-18 / 19-36). Winning odds are close to 50%, suitable for repeat betting strategies.
Dozen and Column Bets
A Dozen covers 12 consecutive numbers (1-12, 13-24, 25-36). A Column covers 12 numbers in one vertical column on the betting board.
Roulette Betting Strategies Commonly Used
Roulette is fundamentally a game of chance, but there are several betting approaches that many players use to manage their balance in a more structured way. It is important to note that no strategy guarantees a win — they are simply ways to structure your bets.
Double your bet after every loss so the next win covers previous losses. Effective in the short term, but requires a sufficient balance.
Increase your bet by one unit after a loss, decrease by one unit after a win. More conservative than Martingale, suitable for longer sessions.
Follow the Fibonacci sequence (1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13…) to determine your bet amount. Move one step forward after a loss, two steps back after a win.
Any of these strategies can be used at clybet roulette tables. Set your daily loss limit before playing and stick to it. You can find further guidance on responsible gambling on the clybet Responsible Gambling page.
